tmux
tmuxis a terminal multiplexer: it enables a number of terminals to be created, accessed, and controlled from a single screen. tmux may be detached from a screen and continue running in the background, then later reattached. For example, it enables programs run uninterrupted via ssh since ssh connects the screen while the program run in the background.
Setup
The configuration file is ~/.tmux.conf

set -g mouse

SSH + tmux
To connect a remote tmux session via SSH,
ssh -t user@host tmux new -A -s ssh_tmuxOr you can log in and then run tmux.
